I was looking around on my DVDs of backed up work today and I found this:

It's a concept matte painting for a VW print ad that I did back in 2007. I can't remember which VFX house I did the work for since it was 3 years ago. So as you can see, they provided me with the exact assets they wanted me to incorporate into the matte painting. The car, mountains, rocks, etc. They added the sky later on.

Happy New Year!

I totally forgot that I had this laying around. I was messing with some PSCS3 settings while doing the illustration. Didn't spend too long on it.

So, back in June of this year, I did a bunch of concept artwork for Warren Spector's Epic Mickey game.

The game wasn't the biggest secret by any means, but it was announced in November's issue of Game Informer and there's a cover image:

I wasn't asked to do the cover, so that's not my illustration.

Well here it is.....I painted Ratchet and Clank on the Euro Special Edition cover of Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. I originally had almost the same background in there on the left, but that was slightly changed to incorporate another image for the back cover. The image on the right was almost the same, but it was swapped out for something else really similar as well.

The original game cover illustration(I only illustrated the front, meaning Ratchet and Clank) was poster-sized and was about 1 GB in size @ 300 dpi.

Edit on Sept 14th-I think this is also the US box cover as well as I've been seeing on various gaming websites.

I also illustrated the cover for a Nintendo DS title called C.O.P. The Recruit from Ubisoft.

They messed with it a bit and it doesn't quite look the same as when I last saw it. I think they might have lightened the levels a bit.
