Wow...a big shocker! I just read it and I had been looking around for rental houses for the next month in the SF area since I was supposed to go work there on a project as a concept artist.
Best of luck to all who worked there.
Stu Maschwitz's(co-founder) blog:
This started out as a quick painting until I kept changing what I was painting. I think I worked on this a tiny bit over an hour. I can't really remember.
About an hour and a half. Giant man-eating birds fly below.
Good thing for the leaf brushes.
It's like......Land of the Lost without Chaka and Sleestacks.

I'm really glad that I was able to finally watch God Grew Tired of Us as it is an excellent documentary about the Lost Boys of the Sudan.
I highly recommend it if you're into documentaries as I am.
Some other interesting documentaries that I've recently watched were:
March of the Penguins(excellent)
Cracking the Maya Code(no, not Maya the software, you nerds...)
The Business of Being Born(excellent)
Woodie Guthrie:Ain't Got No Home
American Masters:Andy Warhol
Encounters At the End of the World
Man on a Wire(excellent)
and of course, a bunch of BBC documentaries.
and a few others that I can't remember right now.
