I waited to post something because I got the news early this Sunday morning.

A sad and devastating day for all alumni and current students at ACCD. Norm was great guy, father, instructor but most of all...a good friend.

I was in disbelief(still in shock now) when I heard the news from a fellow alum who is very close to the situation. Norm inspired us over the years with his teaching and personality. I personally took 4-5 classes with him during my time at ACCD and so did many of my friends who also knew Norm. We all worked really hard, had fun and all of what I'd learned from him is still with me since I graduated 12 years ago.

I saw Norm last year and it was just like old times again.


I'm really going to miss the guy and I feel for his family. Nobody deserves something like this to happen.

UPDATE- Norm's funeral service will be held at ACCD at 10am this upcoming Sunday(March 28th) morning.

Growing up and always being a Lakers fan, I HATED the Celtics. Not for any other reason besides them beating the Lakers in the 1984 Finals and the intense rivalry through the 80's. Great games, great players(so many HOF players), etc. I remember hating Larry Bird with a passion....and it was just because he was that damn good.

If you are a basketball fan, it's a must watch.

Here's some new work that I did last year for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. These are a few concept illustrations of 2 different things. The Gallery image below was to be for a high-end photo shoot with Mia Wasikowska when she was in LA last year.



The image below was for another special shoot, but a live-action shoot with Mia Wasikowska.



Nothing ended up happening just because schedules couldn't be coordinated, but it was a blast working on Alice and having Tim Burton look at my work.

Sure looks a lot brighter on my MacBook Pro compared to my Cintiq.

I've hardly had any time to do any personal art and I've been working on this image off and on maybe 10-15 minutes maybe once a week for the past 3 months. I finally got a chance to sit down and finish it today.
