Now, how did I ever miss this gem? It was released in 2003 and it took me 6 years to hear of it and watch it. Well, I'm glad I finally did. Excellent film. It also won 3 Japanese Academy Awards and 7 other nominations.
It's also called 'When the Last Sword is Drawn' in the US.

You can watch it on imdb or Hulu. If you're rusty on your Japanese, click on Closed Captioning and select the English subtitles.

Here are a few images from Disney's G-Force that I worked on.The initial sketches were what the environment ended up looking like even though we were shooting for a really large warehouse type feel. The main concern for me was that the characters had to be really visable(because they could really disappear in a huge space) and I wanted a smaller environment so that the camera wouldn't be so far away.

The images below were the final, approved images by Disney.

Wow. It's about time the Lakers took care of business. It feels even better to win the series in Denver. The entire team played fantastic tonight. Great inside-outside game, open guys were knocking down their shots, played really tight D. Awesome. Hopefully the adversity they faced during both the Houston series and Denver series will give them that experience to bring home the championship trophy!

I finally got around to putting up a few shots of the opening sequence that I designed for King Lear last year. I designed and illustrated close to 30 shots for that sequence.
